21 August 2013 on the occastion of Rakhi, RBI to take major steps to
relieve the banks of the markets have started strong. Sensex up 299
points 18,545 and Nifty are open 93 points higher at 5,494.

23 RBI to reduce liquidity shortage in the market to buy bonds of Rs
8,000 crore. This is because the Bank Nifty rose 5.5 per cent. Bank
shares rose 15 percent. IndusInd Bank, Bank of Baroda, Punjab
National Bank, Canara Bank, Axis Bank, Union Bank, Bank of India,
SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank has climbed from 9 to
4.5 per cent.
The
decline of the rupee against the dollar is increasing. Today the
rupee against the dollar has opened at 63.45 with a decline of 20
paise. However, in early trading at Rs 63.20 on the level of recovery
is visible and it has come.
